Show New Frazer Auto Features Riding, Design Qualities Sleek, advanced body lines feature feat-ure the new Frazer automobile which will be sold locally through the Curtis Company, Kaiser and Frazer dealers in Millard County. Mechanical and design qualities of the 1947 car were described today to-day by H. A. Curtis, who heads the local dealership. Mr. Curtis said that the Kaiser and Frazer automobiles auto-mobiles will be in production soon at the former bomber plant at Willow Wil-low Run (Michigan) which is being converted to automobile production. produc-tion. The Frazer, a product of Graham-Page Motors Corporation, which shares the vast Willow Run plant with Kaiser-Frazer Corporation, Corpora-tion, is a full-sized six-passenger automobile with smooth exterior lines designed by Howard Darrin, internationally-known stylist. The front and back seats both 63 inches wide are wider than other competitive automobiles. Other features designed to increase passenger comfort are the placing of the rear seat forward of the rear wheels for better riding qualities; elimination of rear floor tunnel; and increased headroom. ' America's first new 1947 car in its price field, the Frazer has continuous con-tinuous flowing lines from headlight head-light to tail-light, the fenders becoming be-coming an integrated part of the body. - The car provides exceptional vision vis-ion both in front and rear. Pillar posts have been moved back to provide greater side vision in the front, increasing the angle of the windshield. Another new engineering feature is a specially designed frame which has three completely bored sections sec-tions from front to rear, increasing strength and rigidity. With an overall height of only 64Vj inches, the Frazer provides good road clearance. Tire size is 15 x 6.50. The Frazer is powered by a big 100 horsepower engine built by Continental Motors to Graham-Page Graham-Page specifications. Despite the exceptional ex-ceptional power, gas consumption is economical. The interior is beautifully styled and among the outstanding appointments ap-pointments there is an entirely new type of door handle which opens the doors by means of "trigger-action". The outside handles are operated op-erated by compressing the grip with the fingers. Inside controls are of the recessed push-button type. Other design and engineering features include: exceptionallj wide wheel rims; an independant front wheel suspension; forced-draft forced-draft "ventilation; specially-designed instrument panels and steering wheel. The appointment of the same to handle sales of Graham-Paige Motors Corp. farm equipment in the Millard area was announced today by G. O. Britton, director oi farm sales for Graham-Paige.
