Show S3 IT 13 EIS LANE? . . . Mrs. f. Sorenson Phillip Abbott, of Calif., spent a few days visiting here with his parents and children. Clair Porter, Floyd Johnson, Ralph Erickson and Gene Walker, who are attending college .this year at the A. C. at Logan, spent the week end here visiting their parents. Miss Glenna Erickson and Miss LaVon Johnson and Les Wright, of Provo, spent the week end here visitin; at the home of Golden Erickson and with LaVon's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ammon Johnson. Thursday evening, the officers and teachers of the M. I. A., entertained enter-tained at a party in honor of the retiring officers and teachers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Robinson. Rob-inson. Rook was played with Mr. and Mrs. Morgan May receiv.ng high prize, and Janet Sanford and Eiwin Prestwitch, consolation. Lunch was served to 36. 1 Mrs. Ishmael Tippetts and her mother, Mrs. May, returned home ! Saturday. Mrs. Tippetts has been 1 in Salt Lake City with Mr. Tip-I Tip-I petts, who is in the L. D. S. hos-I hos-I pital. Mrs. Tippets reports that Mr. ! Tippetts is doing as well as can be expected. All of the community ' hopes for his speedy recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Larson, of ' Salt Lake City, spent Saturday here ) visiting their parents, Bishop and I Mrs. Bryant Larson. Russell is attending at-tending the U. of U. this year. Mrs. Josephine Sorenson is visiting visit-ing with her sons, Burt and Ivan, and families. Mr. and Mrs. Broze Roberts had as their guests last week, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Banks and child. Mrs. Banks was the former Leah Roberts. Ro-berts. The M. I. A. Harvest Ball will be held in Sutherland, Tuesday, November No-vember 5. The Junior Girls and Senior Scouts are sponsoring the dance and a King and Queen will be chosen that night by the ward voting that night. Also refreshments refresh-ments will be sold by the Jumoi Girls. Everyone is invited to come and join in the fun. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Clark and daughter, returned to Delta Tuesday, Tues-day, and will move to McCormick in the near future. |
