Show West Millard Canvassed on Fourth War Loan Practically Every Home In This District Contacted on First Day Dozens of volunteer workers began be-gan Tuesday morning calling on every home in the west side soliciting solicit-ing Fourth War Loan purchases The amoum of their success is still unknown as no one have reported the amounts sold. It is the plan of Orran Ashhy. Millard County chairman, to start the drive and keep it going as rapidly rap-idly as possible so that the amount raised will be definitely known. This will allow plenty of time towards to-wards the end of the drive to catch up on whatever amount is lacking to make the total for Millard County. Coun-ty. Bonds purchased through the Delta Branch Bank and the Delta post office amount to S10.425 in the class E and SI, 000 in the Treasury bonds. The total Millard County quota is S1SS.700 of the class E bonds and $65,7110 of the Treasury bonds. No report has come from the east side. Canvassers ask that you buy your bonds as early as possible in this drive so that they can know how much has been raised. Toward the end of the drive other plans have been made to help the workers work-ers in reaaching their total in case the first canvass fails to bring in the quota. |
