OCR Text	Show Capt. Edward L. Gardner Weds in S. L. Temple On Dec. 29, 1943, Captain Edward Ed-ward L. Gardner, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Eugene Gardner of Delta married Miss Lucille Pratt Giles, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Giles of Palmyra, N. Y., in the Salt Lake Temple. A reception was given giv-en at the home of Parley P. Giles. Captain and Mrs. Gardner are both graduates of the BYU, and the bride has completed an L. D. S. mission in the eastern states. Captain Cap-tain Gardner had just got home from service in the southwest Pacific, Pa-cific, and will return to duty shortly. short-ly. They spent last Saturday and Sunday in Delta on their way back to the Pacific coast. They enjoyed visiting with their friends who called call-ed on them at the home of his parents. par-ents. They left on Monday for L.A.
