Show NORTH TRACT Jay Bea Walker Hello Folks, It is cold, but no snow to keep people from their usual work. L. H. Moulton is busy everv day taking tak-ing the farm census for Uncle Sam. Cora Morrison, Annie Walker and Mary Henrie are the ladies who will call on you to aid the March of Dimes. Mr. Oppenheimer has gone to Salt Lake City to attend a meeting of the Sevier River Water Users Association. Mr. Opp is in better health than he has been for some time. Cecil Shurtz's furlough is about over, he has enjoyed every minute of his visit. Mrs. Mont Bennett has been ill this week. One of the surprises of the week was Lloyd Jackson and that lovely love-ly Robinson girl. Reports were that when they left here they would soon be married. Rex Thornton is in Snake Valley and has employment there on a ranch. Lt. Tex Mosely telephoned me yesterday. He had ferried some planes in to Ogden, then borrowed his brother-in-law's car and drove down to see his mother, Mrs. Egan. We've gone wild too seems lkie Auer, Bert and Johnny Jensen went out on the desert to have a wild horse round up. Bert and Auer had the truck and Johnny rode one of the horses. They arranged to meet at a certain place. Well, the truck guys had trouble so they had to come in for repairs, then went back to meet Johnny. But they couldn't find him. Nor did they find him all night. Then according to the story told around the stove in store. But when I interviewed John he said, "Shucks, all I did was get my wild horse to up to a sheep camp, 'pulled my leather' arid ate sour dough bread for a change." We'll take your word for it, Johnny. John-ny. Marvin Moody made a business trip to Los Angeles. Mrs. Vivian Clark and daughters, Nona and Charlotte spent the last weekend in Salt Lake City. Bishop Rom Shields will have the supervision of the ' March of Dimes in the Sugarville and Wood-row Wood-row districts. The Jolly Stitchers held a card party on January 17 at the hall. Due to previous engagements at other parties the atendance was small. Club will be at the hall the i first Friday in February. M-S Will Walker will visitin in Lynndyl this wek. Their daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. Zola Wright is staying with her sister, Mrs. Reed Larson, until she is recovered from a recent operation. Did you notice the-license issued to Mrs. Minnie I. Hodapp and a Mr. Taylor, in the Tribune. Mrs. Hodapp Hod-app was a teacher in the Delta high school for many years, and a writer of verses with much merit.
