Show HINCKLEY . . . Bish-op. Don Morris broke his foot, when he was wrestling with his playmate on the lawn. Lyle Stewart spent the week in Cedar City visiting his sister, Mrs. De Arthur. Mrs. Beth Ross received a call from her husband, Le Roy Ross in Shoemaker, California, saying he would be home Wednesday. He has his honorable discharge from the Navy. Walter Ekins and family went to Cedar City Monday to get their sheep off the mountain and bring them home. They returned Friday. MS Marion Warnick and two children Bonnie and Ray, from Gunnison, Colo., are visiting their parents, M-S Parley Warnick. Mrs. Dorothy Anderson has gone to Camp Roberts, California, to join her husband, Pvt. Merlin Anderson. Kennard Carter came from Tooele Too-ele and brought his cousin, De Loy Stewart, of Meadow, and Gladys Steel of Tod Park for the servicemen's service-men's party. , Donna Marie Fowler, of Goshen, was in town Monday. John Taylor came home from Tod Park Monday. M-S Swonger and family of Provo have moved into Lafe Nielson's home. An assembly program and dance were given in honor of Joe Buchanan, Buchan-an, at the Hinckley high school Monday and he was given a gift of remembrance from the school. The Hinckley Literary and Rook Club had a turkey dinner with all the trimmings Monday night for M-S M-S Joe Buchanan, who are leaving town. Mrs. Helen Cox received word that her husband had arrived from overseas, and she left Tuesday morning to join him in Long Beach. Raymond Finlinson, who was home from just completing a voyage overseas drove her car down to California for her. He will leave for another voyage. |
