Show j Republicans Set i Lincoln Day j 'Banquet Feb. 12 Attorney Sherman Christensen, of Provo will be the principal speaker at the Lincoln Day banquet. ban-quet. His address is entitled, "From Gettvburg to Hiroshima." Attorney Attorn-ey Christensen is a veteran of World War II, where he served as Lt. Comdr. in the U. S. Navy. U. S. Senator Brewster of Maine will deliver the Lincoln Day address add-ress in Salt Lake City. His talk will be broadcast on Salt Lake stations. Oratorical contests will be sponsored spon-sored in the high schools. The subject sub-ject will be "Lincoln, Defender of the Constitution." The winners will be presented attractive medals and will be guests at the banquet. The banquet will commence in Fillmore at 6 00 p. m. and in Delta at 7 p. m. The charge will be $2 a plate and $1.25 a plate for veterans. veter-ans. Tickets may be obtained from precinct chairmen. The program is under the direction direc-tion of the Millard county Republican Repub-lican committee: Eldon A. Eliason, chairman, and Mrs. Rebecca Kimball, Kim-ball, vice chairwoman.
