One hundred six fathers and sons and guests had a very enjoyable evening. We commenced the banquet with prayer, offered by Richard I May. a chapter member. Mr. Ogden, Og-den, our advisor, introduced the guosts present. Then we had short talks from Supt. A. M. Maughm, W. R. Walker, Dewey Sanford, Elvin Downs and Rodney Rod-ney Rickenbach. Sandy Sanford. a chapter member, gave a reading read-ing followed by a musical number num-ber from Harlo Mortensen. A report re-port on the chapter accomplishments accomplish-ments was read. Sherman Jones, a chapter mem ber, demonstrated a clever way of feeding calves. He has a string tied to an alarm clock. When the clock goes off it winds the string and pulls the lid so the grain runs into the trough it is set for I o'clock in the after-oon after-oon and 1 o'clock at night. When the clock rings, they come and get it. |
