Show Parents Day At Delta HS Is Thursday Event ThuTsday,- Feb7 14 is- 26th " an-nual an-nual Parents Day at Delta high school, and three hundred parents or more are anticipated for all or part of the day's entertainment. Pupils have a holiday. Programs will be provided each parent giving the time and place of each event during the day. The morning session opens with an assembly as-sembly at 9:15, and will be followed fol-lowed by three class periods, taught tau-ght by DHS faculty members. Parents Par-ents will select from their programs pro-grams which classes they wish to attend. Luncheon, noon movies, pep rally, ral-ly, and elections will precede the afternoon assembly at 2:15 p. m. . Dr. Daryl Chase, director of the Branch Agricultural College, will be the featured speaker at the afternoon af-ternoon assembly. With him will be some musical numbers from the BAC. A basketball game, faculty vs. parents, comes later, and evening movies at 6 p. m. The evening program opens at 7:30 p.' m. with local talent providing pro-viding the entertainment. At 9 o'clock there will be dancing in the gymnasium. Parents and faculty are combined combin-ed in arranging the day's program with Athena Cook heading the parents par-ents group, and Prin. Glen Seegmiller Seeg-miller the high school. Specially invited guests are Supt. A. M. Maughan, and members of Millard school board. |
