Show II. II. S. News LYLA HAE TALBOT Freshie Day seemed to go over big this year. Although the Sophomore Sopho-more students outnumbered the Freshies in enrollment the Sophomores Sopho-mores seem to be the worked kind and a big share of them were out oH school. First period in the morning assembly as-sembly was held. The Freshies all appeared in the different garbs assigned to them. The assembly was entirely unrehearsed but the Freshies cooperated very well and it was a success. In the afternoon a tug-of-war was held and the rest of the afternoon was spent in the different classes .challenged each other to Softball games. In the evening a dance was held to climax the day. Many students danced to the music of Bud's Band. The Freshies went home from school in the afternoon very much painted up, but the Sophomores looked almost as bad. Many of the Sophomores thought they had the identity of the Freshie Fresh-ie class officers all figured out un-il un-il the night of the dance when hey found out that not a single one had guessed the right president presi-dent which is very al The final outcome of the Fieshie election was Sherral Tolbert, present pres-ent Bryan Petersen, vice president presi-dent and Sherril Morris as secre-tary. |
