It was very interesting to hear his experiences while in the Canadian mission field. Pvt. Blaine Crhistensen is home (rom Korea after being there over a year. We are all glad to have 1 him home again. Pvt. Ralph Lovell is liome on leave from Fort Hood, Texas. Antoine Christensen left Monday morning for the service. Friday night a party was held in his honor by the young people. Saturday Sat-urday night a dance was given for him. A large crowd attended. His mother, Mrs. Esther Christensen Christen-sen went to Salt Lake and will visit a few days with her daughter, daugh-ter, Verona. Mrs. Aretta Peterson visited in Eureka with her sister, Margaret Duncan, the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Junior Anderson and children from Idaho, are visiting visit-ing in Oak City a few days. The Anderson brothers have a ranch in Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Shipley were Oak City visitors over the weekend. Also Evan Swensen, La-Mae La-Mae Finlinson and Avis Anderson. William Jacobson and son, Milan, Mi-lan, are working in Ogden for Bishop Orlan Jacobson at Washington Washing-ton Terrace. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Christensen visited in Salt Lake City a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Shipley were in Salt Lake City Sunday and Monday. The MIA Girls under the direction direc-tion of thir teacher, Mrs. Joy Christ ensen, had a supper demonstration demonstra-tion Tuesday evening at the home of Orpha Anderson. Mrs. Caddie Anderson is at Provo Pro-vo for medical attention this week. Mr. and Mrs. Christian Anderson took her to Provo Sunday morning. morn-ing. They returned Monday. |
