Show BY MARY JOHNSON Mrs. Lloyd Christensen and little daughter of Salt Lake City spent several days here with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Louis Overson. Mrs. Donna Haycock came down and brought her little daughters, Carol and Connie, to stay with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Nielson, while she and Leslie Les-lie are deer hunting. Wess Deford left for Phoenix, Arizona, where he will make his home. Mr. and Mrs. Durward H. Clark will move into his apartment apart-ment after his furniture has been shipped. Friday evening the PTA held a meeting with La Forge Lovell taking tak-ing charge. A short program was given and problems discussed. Refreshments Re-freshments were served. Roy Nielson made a business trip to Salt Lake City Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Royal Terry and Forrest of Cedar City, Mrs. Her-rick Her-rick Mublesteln o'S Provo and Bruce Terry anf Salt Lake City, came Saturday to hunt ducks and remained over the weekend to take in the opening of deer season. sea-son. Among ithe lucky hunters the first day were Terry Nielson, Roy Nielson and Sam Vest Myron Vest is here visiting the Vest families. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Powell and children of Salt Lake City drove down and spent the day Saturday with Mr. land Mrs. Joe Pargis. On Sunday Mrs. Pargis with Mrs. Glen Crawford drove to Salt Lake City to visit Mrs. Crawford's father, George Mayer, who is there for medical care. Miss Velda Sheriff and Miss Shirley Sheriff were home over Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Sheriff. Mrs. Mary Smith has her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Margaret Dean and baby while Dean is deer hunting. They drove up from San Diego for the hunt. Margaret visited in Eureka with Mr. Dean's parents Sunday. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clead Nielson are Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Johnson and little girl, who are here for the hunt. Mr. and Mrs. Brant Wall and sons are down from Salt Lake for deer hunting. Brant joined Harry McCardell and they went to Vernon Ver-non to hunt. Mrs. Billy, Mrs. Norma and Mrs. Betty Nielson spent the day in Provo Monday whhile their husbands hus-bands are out in the wilds. Miss Dean Overson was down from Stockton this week. Students taking advantage of the two-day holiday home were John Whatcott, Dee Nielson, Eugene Eu-gene Overson and Connie Johnson. Miss Colleen Nielson was home from Salt Lake this weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Lile Johnson and Ross visited with Mr. and Mrs. Frances MeMullin Sunday in Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Rogers in Provo. Mrs. Curt Johnson and George drove to Salt Lake City Friday to get Curt, who is working up there. Alma Banks rode up with her. He visited with Mrs. Banks, who left the hospital on Saturday and is at the home of their son, Fred. Mrs. Banks will be able to come home this weekend if she continues contin-ues to improve. |
