Show -Oak City- Mae H. Shipley Sunday evening services were well attended. Elder Reece FLnlin-son FLnlin-son was the speaker, telling many-faith many-faith promoting stories about his experiences while in the service in Japan and also his mission. - Next Sunday, Oct. 26, will be the Oak City ward conference. Mr. and Mrs. Max Bennett 'from California are visiting their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Emery Dutson and also to take in the deer hunt. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Roper and family lare home from their ranch in Idaho, after spending about 2 weeks digging potatoes. Mrs. Erma Nielson and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Olson are visiting in Beaver this week. Mrs. Dean Anderson has her parents visiting. Their home is at Tridell, Utah. Mr. land Mrs. Parley Elder spent the weekend home from Manti where they are working in the Manti temple. Mr. and Mrs. Everett Lish and children and Mrs. Miller from Patterson, Pat-terson, Idaho, visited Mrs. Lish's mother, Mrs. Blanchad and her sister, Donna Anderson and family fam-ily of Oak City for la few days. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Anderson and two children visited in Oak City Thursday with their mother, Mrs. Caddie Anderson and other relatives. Among the visitors seen in Oak City for the deer hunt are Mr. iand Mrs. Joseph Wells and children of Sunset; Mrs. Nelda Jenkins and son, Emmon, from Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. Basil Talbot and children of Spanish Fork; Mr. and Mrs. Allan Lovell, Clisbee Lovell, Mr. and Mrs. Carwin Nielson, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Arnold and children from Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. LeeRay Pratt, Mrs. Ruby Taylor, Onzlow and Edsel Nielson; Mrs. Ann M. Fausfeiand son Rex; and Mrs. Ella Hoover from Salt Lake; also Mr. and Mrs. Ez Thompson from California. Calif-ornia. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Christensen and son, Myron, and Ivan Shipley Ship-ley were in Salt Lake Wednesday and Thursday. We all welcome Elder Elwood Lovell home from his mission in Canada. He arrived last week. Last week Mrs. Maeel Anderson had her mother and also her sister Veetrus visit from Richfield. Pfc. Devon Roper and wife are visiting his parents, Mr. iand Mrs. Bert Roper. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Roper visit-1 visit-1 ed their parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Roper a 'few days last week. Miss Wilna Wixom spent three days last week attending the nurses' nur-ses' convention at Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. William Billings-ley Billings-ley and family from Salt Lake City were Oak City visitors this week for the deer hunt. |
