Show Early Abraham Settler Dies During Past Veek Edward John Biehler, 90, early settler at Abraham, and resident for many years, died Wednesday, at 8:30 p. m. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Margaret Taylor with whom he had made his home for the past thirteen months. He was born Nov. 19, 1861, at Stanwood, Michigan, a son of Mar- tin and Elizabeth Biehler. In 1909 he moved with his wife and children to Abraham, where he engaged in farming for a number num-ber of years. Mrs. Biehler died some years ago. Sixteen years ago he went to Big Rapids, Mich., where he had resided until his return to Abraham Abra-ham to live with his daughter. Mr. Biehler was one of the early farmers at Abraham, and is well remembered as a good .neighbor and industrious farmer. Surviving are four sons and three daughters: Alfred Biehler, Ray -mond Biehler, and Mrs. Beth Year-sley, Year-sley, Salt Lake City, Edward Bieh-'ler, Bieh-'ler, Illinois, Harold Biehler, Bishop, Bish-op, Cal., Mrs. Margaret Taylor, of Abraham, and Mrs. Henrietta Thai-man, Thai-man, Sigurd; one brother, George Biehler, Big Rapids, Mich.; 18 grand children and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Saturday at 1 p. m. in Abraham, conducted by Gus Taylor, presiding elder of Abraham branch. Burial was in the Hinckley cemetery, ceme-tery, under direction of the Nickle mortuary. |
