Show Services Held In Deseret For Polio Victim Orvil Henry Western, 46, died Saturday about 5:15 p. m. in a Salt Lake rest home of natural causes. A victim of polio 21 years ago, he had been semi-invalid since. He was born in Deseret Oct. 3, 1905, a son of John Henry and Musetta Palmer Western. ' He attended at-tended Deseret school, and was graduated from Hinckley high school. sch-ool. Later he attended Henager business college in Salt Lake City for two years. - He was a member of the LDS church and took part in ward activities act-ivities as long as his health permitted. per-mitted. Survivors include his parents, 2 brothers, Fawn and Leslie Western, Deseret, and seven sisters, Mrs. Lavern Allred and Mrs. Inez Dam-ran, Dam-ran, Deseret; Mrs. Belva Morris, Mrs. Bertha Love and Mrs. Ruth Talbot, Hinckley; Mrs. Grayce Pace Delta, and Mrs. Edna Patterson, Boise, Idaho. Funeral services were conducted in Deseret ward chapel Wednesday at 1 p. m. by Bishop Ormus Dut-son. Dut-son. Burial was in the Deseret cemetery under direction of the Nickle mortuary. |
