The color expert points out that builders who realize the importance impor-tance of color now make provision provis-ion for color styling in their program, pro-gram, with the result that the complete home has color harmony with itself and its neighbors although al-though maintaining an identity of its own. Miss West explains that she lets the asphalt shingle roof serve as the color key, setting the color pace for the entire house. She selects blended asphalt shingles because a blend gives the design, er wider latitude in the colors for the trim, siding, and for accent, than is possible with a solid color. A blend readily harmonizes with a wide range of colors. "Color can Individualize a single house, or a group of houses," says Miss West, T'and it can integrate an entire community of homes.
