Jef-! fery. I Hinckley News LYLA HAE TALBOT Faye Muir of Beaver was a visitor vis-itor at the Ren Taylor home this past week. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Brimny of Seattle Sea-ttle Wash., were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. T. Geo. Theo bald. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Young of Idaho visited with Mr. Robert Taylor. Max Humphries has been promoted pro-moted to a Corporal within the last two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Eric Stewart and children visited with Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Stewart and also Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stewart visited with them. Mr. nd Mrs. Frank Stewart have been in Hawaii for the past nine years and are now returning to their home in Salt Lake City. A Slumber Party was held at the home of Geraldine and Helen Hinckley won the game with a score oi 6 to 11. Tuesday we were upset by the Delta 1st ward with a score of 6 to 11 in their favor. Visitors's last week at the Lorin Dutson home were Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Fackrell o'i Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Curtis and daughter Judy of Delta. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Blake of Meadow. Pvt. and Mrs. Dale Little made a surprise visit to their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Little of Delta and Mr. and Mrs. Loren Talbot Tal-bot o'f Hinckley. They are stationed station-ed at Fort Bliss, Texas. They report re-port back on August 4. The Hinckley Town wants to thank anyone who helped in any way to make the Pioneer Days 1 celebration in Hinckley such a 1 big success this year. Thanks to I every place that was represented I with a float of some sort in the ' parade. Black's on trie 23rd of July. Guests were Dorothy Morris, Mae Jean Petersen, Irene Lewis, Verlene Stevens, Ste-vens, Marjorie Ireland, Lyla Eae Talbot and the Misses Blacks. A pot luck supper was served. Marie Stevens visited with her folks in Hinckley this past week end. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Spendlove visited in Richfield Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Vein Ruppleye and family and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bu-canhan Bu-canhan and family. They brought a friends of Teedy's with them, Kent Charlaston. Howard Mcintosh is spending a few days in Salt Lake for the first part of the week. David Stevens was home from TOD Park this week end. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Christensen from TOD Park spent the last few days at the Karl Workman home. Also their daughter, Virginia, was with them. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Bishop are home this week after spending the past two weeks in South Dakota Da-kota visiitng with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Lars Bishop spent the holidays in Hinckley. Don Larsen and his cousin Bud Larsen spent the holiday's in Hinckley. Hin-ckley. Mr. and Mrs. Talmage Christensen Christen-sen have as visitors at their home Shirley's mother, Mrs. Annie Con-nell. Con-nell. The first part of the week Mr. and Mrs. Brent Abbott and three children from Reno, Nev., spent a day with them and also Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gardner of Delta. Del-ta. Mr. and Mrs. Roe Buhanan have as visitors at their home George Sargent of Idaho and Roe's father and brother Wayne of Beaver. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Woodbury visited with his folks for the 24th of July. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Tanner this past week was their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hughs of Salt Lake City. Their son, EIRay will stay In Hinckley until school begins be-gins this fall. Also visiting at the Tanners was Mrs. Tanner's sister and husband of San Pedro, Cal. Mr. and Mrs. James Blake and daughter, Colleen are home from Idaho where Mr. Blake has been hospitalized for the past few weeks The twins remained in Salt Lake where they will work the rest of the summer. Mr. Blake is recovering recover-ing at his home and is much improved. im-proved. Paul Theobald visited in Hinckley Hinck-ley for the holidays. , Mr. and Mrs. Hon Cropper and Mrs. Lula Cropper, Fannie Lee Hilton Hil-ton and Gaylyn went to Buhl, Ida., for the Bishop reunion. After the reunion Hon and Erma and Gaylyn went to Sun Valley where they fished fltor.a few days. Jimmy Vance, son of Dr. and Mrs. Earl Vance of Salt Lake visited vis-ited with Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Stewart Ste-wart this week. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Hurst and family are visiting at Mirror Lake this week. Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Hepworth had some of their daughters and their families visiting them for the past week. Last Friday Hinckley met Sutherland Suth-erland to a game of girls softball. |
