Show Cleaning Brushes The painter who neglects to clean his brushes after they've been used doesn't deserve much sympathy; but at least he deserves de-serves a tip on how to recondition his brushes the next time they have to be used. Fill up an old can with vinegar, stick the brushes in it, and put it on the stove until it boils for ten or fifteen minutes. This may cause falling bristles in inferior quality brushes; but it will soften -them up considerably, and a good washing should complete the reconditioning. |
