Show Leamington MABEL HARDER Jack Nielson attended Sunday School in the morning, Sunday, July 22, and church in the evening. However, between the meetings, he became a a'fther of a new boy who arrived at the Payson hospital. Zola and son are doing fine and expect to be home soon. Cpl. and Mrs. Orin Nielson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Josiah Nielson, are also the proud parents of a new boy, who arrived July .19 in the Payson hospital. Orin has been keeping the phone lines busy from Fort Sill, Okla., to find what his son looks like. The little fellow has been named Orin Craie. The 4-H club under the leadership leader-ship of Wanda Nielson and Eva Dutson are sponsoring a bazaar to be held Wednesday after the show. A quilt will be raffled and another baby quilt to be auctioned. All proceeds are to be given to the ward toward the purchase of a power po-wer lawn mower. An elated group of Boy Scouts returned from Delta swimming pool Monday night. All six have passed their Life Saving merit bad ge and cleared the way to becoming becom-ing Eagle Scouts in August. Mr. and Mrs. Ferrell Shepherd and children o'J Ogden visited three days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Rich Finlinson. Mrs. Shepherd is Klee's sister. Mr. and Mrs. William Bradfield are on the trip to Canada with the others of Deseret Stake in the temple bus. Miss Ruth Jensen of Salt Lake City is spending her vacation with her father, Sam Jensen. During her visit, Mr. Jensen is vacationing from the post ofice and Mrs. Rich Finlinson is taking his place. Visiting with Mrs. Emma Nielson the past week has been her sister, Mrs. Sadie Tilford and daughter and children of California. Also visiting over the week end with their mother, were Mrs. Arvilla Evans, Ev-ans, and Mrs. Barta Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Dutson spent July 24 with their children in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Wells Nielson drove to Provo to spend the 24th with Mr. and Mrs. Sid Searles. |
