Mr. Brush and three sister? are surviving in u family that once 'vas ten child-ren, four boys and six girls. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Webb and , 'daughter, Dorothy from Phoenix,' Ariz., visited in Delta last week ' with Mrs. Webb's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E, A. Brush. They were re- -' turning from a trip to Reno, Nev., lo see their new grandson blessed, Thomas W. Reid, from Salt Lake City, is spending a monthh .in Delta with his daughter, Mrs. June V. Black. Four Local Lads Complete Basic At Lackland AFB From Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, comes infor-mation this week that four local lads have completed their AF basic airmen indoctrination course. They are Pvt. Morgan Abbott, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. George M. Abbott, of Sugarville, Pvt. Arnold L. Shields 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney ShAields, of Sugarville, Pvt. Rich-ard Jefferson Carter, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Byron B. Carter, of Hinck-ley and Pvt. Carl E. Stoneking, 19, son o'i Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Stoneking, of Abraham. Lackland, "Gateway to the Air Force", is the world's largest air base, site of the Air Force basic training, for men and women, and headquarters of the Human Re-source Research Center ,and home of AF's Officer Candidate School. Their basic training has prepar-ed them for entrance into Air Force technical training and for assign-ment in specialized work. The course Included a scientific eval-uation of their apitudes and in-clination for following a particul-ar vocation and career. Kxchaitge Vows In Temple Rites Mr. and Mrs. Mark W. Johnson of Delta announce the marriage of their daughter, ArCola, to Mr. Lamond Willden, son of Mrs. Mil-dred Willden, of Delta. The cere-mony was solemnized in the St. George temple, Sept. 8. The cou-ple were accompanied by Mrs. John son and son, Kay, Mrs. Willden, and daughter, Ferol, Mr. and Mrs. Verlyn Willden, of Gunnison, and Mrs. May Stubbert, of Salt Lake City. Following the ceremony a wed-ding dinner was served 'for the bridal couple and members of the family at the home of the bride's rrandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph 11. Johnson, at St. George. The bride was lovely in a wed-ding gown of white satin, trimmed with nylon lace, Her veil was fin-gertip length, held by a halo of seed pearls. She carried a bridal bouquet of red and white roses. Her going away outfit for a honey moon in Nevada was a gray tailor-ed suit. The young couple will return to make their home in Delta. The bride was honored at a tea and shower on Friday afternoon, Aug-ust 31, at the home of her par-ents. Guests called during the af-ternoon with gifts and best wish-es.
