Show I Same Old "Tex" Wins New Medal On Korea Front "Tex" Moseley will be coming home from Korea one of these days with a whole batch of medals, according ac-cording to news releases. The most recent at the Chronicle came this week, dated August 28, 1951, and says: With X Corps, U. S. Army in Korea - - 1st. Lt. Lonnie L. Moseley Mose-ley of Delta, Army pilot, receives the Air Medal with five clusters 'from X Corps artillery commander Brig. Gen. William P. Ennis, Jr., in a frontline ceremony. The Utah flyer, aide-de-camp to General Ennis, En-nis, has been serving in Korea since coming to the Orient in Oct. He was recalled to active duty as a Reservist last Sept. His wife, Carol, and their two sons live in I Veyo. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Egan, reside in Delta. I Accompanying the article was an : U. S. . Army photo, showing Brig. Gen. Ennis pinning the medal upon up-on Lt. Moseley's chest. It's not so long ago, Chronicle of Aug. 2, that told of Lt. Moseley being awarded , the Silver Star for making 20 landings lan-dings on a North Korean air strip last winter under heavy Red fire. Delta glows with pride about Tex. |
