NOTICE MILLARD COUNTY FLOWER SHOW Fair Day's of the Old West August 17 - 18, 1951 The Junior Garden Clubs will join the flower show this year, same rules as Senior Clubs. The 3rd year for Art Show. Peo-ple are encouraged to enter all types of Art. Entries will be made Aug. 16th, the day be'fore the fair. NOTE: State Judges: Rules of Judging the Flower Show Rules of judging the flower show by the National Council of Garden Clubs, accepted for Millard County-Flowe- Show. All flowers will come under these departments: Artistic Arrangement Color Combination 25 Proportion and Balance 25 Perfection of arrangement .... 20 Distrinction 10 Originality - 10 Relation of Container 10 There will be two classes under artistic arangement. I. Artistic Display The use of flowers in group-ings o'f II. Artistic Mass The use of flowers in group-ings of flowers over artistic display number. Large Masses artistically arranged. Horticulture grouping. This department 'Will be for peo-ple who are interested in the qual-ity of the flowers rather than all arrangement. Horticulture. Roses The Rose will be judged by themselves. Artistic arrangements as well as Horticulture.
