Show SBallierlaiid Mrs. Alice Jensen is spending several weeks in Cedar City with her daughter, Mrs. Marian Woolsey who is recovering from a recent major operation. Mrs. Jennie Thornton and Miss May Thornton are visiting in Cedar Ce-dar City and St. George. They made the trip with Mrs. Hall and family, who had been with them for a week's visit. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Foote received re-ceived word Saturday that their son, Sgt. Ray Needham, had been sent overseas for military duty. Sgt. Needham joined the army Hi years ago and has been based at San Diego. John Walker returned home Sun day evening from ROTC training camp at Hamilton Field, Cal. Sutherland MIA will hold sessions ses-sions at the church next Tuesday evening. The adult group will have a hobby lesson. Linda Walker is spending this week in Oak City. A special meeting of the aGr-den aGr-den Club was held Monday afternoon after-noon at the home of Mrs. Mary Henrie. Displays and flower arrangements ar-rangements were discussed for the "Fiwor 5hnw Aii et. 11 and 12 at Days of the Old West in Deseret. Friday evening girls of the senior sen-ior softball team enjoyed a picture show and open air party on the Porter lawn. Primary gave the program Sunday Sun-day evening at the services and in the testimony meeting small Thorn as Nielson Taylor and Gary Rob-ison Rob-ison received their new names. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Clark, Leo Hollingshead and Miss S hirley Koger were special visitors. |
