Mr. and Mrs. Dean Hilton, who spent the winter in Salt Lake City, have returned to their home in Hinckley. Mr. Hilton is farming, and Mrs. Hilton has resumed her duties at the Delta bank. She will be home this summer. Julian Finlinson's health is im-proving at his home in Oak City. Mr. and Mrs. Jerold Dutson have a new son born at Nephi. They are at her parents' home at pres-ent, Mr. and Mrs. Parley Roper. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Finlinson were Salt Lake visitors the past wekk. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Talbot and Mrs. Daryl Talbot went to Salt Lake City to meet Elder Talbot, returning from the California mis-sion. At Mutual Tuesday evening the musical program was given by students of Mrs. Thelma Dutson. Mrs. Myrtle Lovell and daugh-ter, Afton, were in Salt Lake to. see her son, Clead, leave for his Oak City Mae H. Shipley Sunday evening services were enjoyed with Elders Bruce Lovell and Dean Anderson as speakers. Paul Finlinson rendered the vncrfl solo, "Jerusalem." The Fireside Chat after meet-ing was held at LeRoy Anderson's home. The program was a testi-mony meeting. A large crowd was present. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Christensen have moved to Oak City- - He is working in Delta. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Anderson were Oak City visitors this week end from Gunnison. Miss Avis Anderson is home from Salt Lake City where she attend-ed the L. D. S. Business college. mission. Clead's brothers and sis-ters also wore there to tell him good bye and happy mission la-bors. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Miller, former Deltans and now living in Provo, were Delta visitors Saturday. Millardites Mrs. Rachel Simpson Samuel Foote, an 18th century wit, asked a man why he always sang one tune: "Because it haunts me," the man replied. "No wonder said Foote, "You certainly murder it." Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Ivie spent the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ray Harvey in Salt Lake City and then went to Willard and vis-ited Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Talbot. Don has been in the hospital there but is recovering. Roy Clark spent the week in Lynndyl. Thelma and children joined him Saturday and remained for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Crum and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Carlton spent the evening Sunday playing Can-asta at the Crum home In Orem. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Crum drove to Salt Lake City Tuesday to meet their son, Paul, Jr., who has been spending a week in Milford. Mrs. Kay Aitken, Effie Allen, Ruby and Rachel Simpson attend-ed a bazaar at the Catholic church in Provo Friday evening. Kay was on the refreshment committee. Pie, ice cream and coffee were served. Saturday Gladys Banks spent the day visiting at the Simpson home and caught the Delta bus and spent Sunday with her par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Banks in Lynndyl. Mr: and Mrs. Don Wiliams spent last weekend in Leamlngotn. Mr. and Mrs. Oran Nielson returned to Tooele with them for a visit. Saturday Rachel Simpson went to Spanish Fork and visited Mrs. Sadie Elmer. Jimv Glover of Kansas City visit-ed with his nephew and family, Melvin Majers. He had dinner with them and then drove to Salt Lake City. Mrs. Effie Allen, and Mr. and Mrs. George Godfrey were guests at a birthday dinner given at Viv- - ian Park in Provo canyon at the Russell home, honoring Mrs. Frank Godfrey on her birthday Tuesday. Five hundred was played and Mrs. George Godfrey won the first prize. All the Majers children are home with the mumps. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Home of Orem spent a few days visiting in Salt Lake with their children. Mrs. Lois Gilmer's mother, Ida Peterson Horton, 73, passed away in a Provo hospital and with bur-ied in the Springville cemetery on Tuesday.
