Mrs. Russell Dutson of Salt Lake 1 arrived Thursday to spend a week I with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray 'Mills. They all left Friday morning to spend a few days in Milford. Mrs. Jean Jeffers has returned from a visit in California, and is now packing to make her home there, as her son, Bill, is employed at SanBernardino. Miss Margaret Smith has. been quite lill for the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Simpson and small daughter, Paula, went to Ne-phi Ne-phi Tuesday to see Dr. Beckstead. On Wednesday they spent the day in Delta and Oak City visiting Mr. and Mrs. Leland Roper. Fael Huddleston is home over the weekend. Thursday Mrs. Rachel Simpson and Janeane came home from Salt Lake after visiting with Mrs. Louise Clark. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ben-sen, Ben-sen, Mrs. Sara Ann Wiley, and Mrs. Effie Allen drove to Provo to attend at-tend the funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Sherwood, who passed away in El-berta. El-berta. Mrs. Hilma Clark, who has been visiting her son, Roy, was called to Salt Lake City Wednesday as her granddaughter, Betty Madsen, gave birth to a new baby and Mrs. Clark went to take care of her. A very enjoyable evening was spent last Friday at the Nielson home, the occasion being Crystal's birthday. Games and refreshments were enjoyed by a group of young people. Nada and Bill Simpson were guests at the Norma Majers home Sunday and enjoyed a delicious dinner. Connie Johnson, Roberta Nielson and Molly Mills went to Beaver to attend the Delta - Beaver game and to Milford to the game there. Mrs. Alpha Nielson went to Los Angeles to undego an operation. She will visit with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Thompson there. Mrs. Eleanor Nielson and Mr. and Mrs. Phil Nielson went to Spanish Fork Saturday. Miss Gladys Banks came home over the weekend and returned on Sunday to the BAC. Freddie Miller, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Banks, is here while his mother is in Salt Lake. Mrs. Jerry Nielson and Mrs. Clarice Clar-ice Larsen and Susie Nielson were in Salt Lake last week visiting Mrs. Josephine Sudbury. Mr. and Mrs. Kirt Roper wish to announce the marriage of their daughter, Dawn, to Barney Wetzell of Los Angeles. They were married in Caliente, Nevada, December 31, 1948. They are now honeymooning in Los Angeles and visiting with Mr. Wetzzell's family. ; Mr. land Mrs. Carl Larsen spent last week in Las Vegas. |
