Show LEAMINGTON .. Mrs. Leonard Dutson Since the Holidays iand this cold weather, people have decided to stay home where it is warm rather than brave the cold weather, so there is not much news from the Leamington district. While Mrs. Bud McCann is con-valesing con-valesing from an appendectomy, Mr. and Mrs. McCann have gone to San Francisco, where they will spend a couple of weeks visiting with her sister, Mrs. Oral Nelson and family and brothers, Benny and Cecil and families. They have hired Mr. Ed. Col-throp Col-throp from Salt Lake to run the store while they are away. He was the former owner of Leamington Market. He is living in Salt Lake now. Mr. and Mrs. Less Walker were visitors in Leamington during the holidays. They visited with her father, Mr. Jeff Finlinson and a sister, Leda Greathouse, of Lynn-dyl. Lynn-dyl. They left a week ago for their home in Pocatello, Idaho. Don Williams came home from Tooele last week end to visit his parents. He came in his car and returned back by train as word was received from .his sister that 2feet of snow had fallen Saturday night and was still snowing. Mr.- and Mrs. Lou Perkins from Delta were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Merle Nielson on New Year's day. . There are several new homes being be-ing completed in Leamington. They are the Rich Finlinsons, Rulori Dut-sons Dut-sons and La Farge Lovell. So Leam ington is increasing instead of decreasing. de-creasing. We really feel bad to see Lynndyl breaking up and we will miss our fine neighbors a lot as we have been neighbors for many years and we have made many friends we will never forget. Mr. and Mrs, Jay Quornburg are spending a few days visiting in Salt Lake with relatives. |
