Show Final Rites Held For Small Son, Accident Victim Funeral services for Jackie Lynn Jensen, two year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Jensen, of Wend-over Wend-over were held Thursday at 11 a. m. in Deseret ward chapel. He died in a Salt Lake Hospital Tuesday Tues-day of injuries received Monday at Wendover when he was struck by a backing automobile as he rode his tricycle. The little boy was born Sept. 20 1946 in Tooele and is survived by his parents, a sister Judy Rae, and grandparents, Charles M. Jen-jsen, Jen-jsen, Sutherland, and Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Bennett, Deseret. Attending the services from Wendover Wend-over were Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Green, Mr. and Mrs. Rands Wiley, Mr. and Mrs. Ralmond Orgill, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Ecton, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Flinders, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Duke, Bishop and Mrs. Ronald Ron-ald Anderson, Mrs. Mary Birdzell and Myron Kimber. From Mt. Pleasant were Louis Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Johnson, John-son, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Johansen and family, Mrs. Ruby Poulsen, and Edward Jensen. The services opened with a duet "Whispering Hope" by Ila Byland and Myron Kimber, and prayer toy Bishop Bryant Larsen. Miss Zoe Porter sang "Danny Boy". Elder Blair Maxfield was a speaker, followed fol-lowed by a vocal solo by Ladd Cropper, "God's Voice Has Softly Called". Bishop Anderson of Wend over was the following speaker. Ila Byland and Mr. Kimber sang the closing song, "Beyond the Sun set". Burial was in the Delta cemetery, ceme-tery, where the grave was dedicated dedicat-ed by Kimball Johansen. |
