Despite talk of a truce and abortive peace negotiations, the war in Palestine continues its sullen course, producing deaths, destruction and prisoners as all wars do. These two members of the Jewish Haganah were captured by the Arabs after the battle of Kfar Etzyon, a strategic Jewish settlement outside Jerusalem. Arab reports say these were the only two prisoners taken.
