Show DESEItET Lucile Sampson Mr and Mrs. Wayne Cropper and daughter from California are visiting in Deseret with relatives and friends. They are staying at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln Cropper. t ;' aS Mrs- E- J- Eliason and rJ S ? Ellason. spent the weekend in bait Lake City and also attending attend-ing conference. Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Dutson and Mr. and Mrs. Dee Black attended conference in Salt Lake City. Friday evening at the Deseret church house a wedding dance was held for Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Moody. Mrs. Moody was the former Margie Jensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Axel Jensen A large crowd attended and the young couple received many useful gifts and best wishes. Mrs. Mavis Hardy from Cedar Uty spent the weekend in Deseret with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Dewsnup. Mr and Mrs. Sheldon Robinson and family have moved to Ely Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Spencer W,ebb and Mr and Mrs. J. M. Webb spent Saturday Sat-urday in Spanish Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Dewsnup moved into their new home on Monday. The house, constructed this summer, is one of the show places of Deseret, designed for convenience and pleasure in house keeping and homemaking. Mrs. Hattie Cahoon spent several sev-eral days in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Fern Warner was called to Salt Lake City by the illness of her father, Tom Dearden, who is in the hospital there. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Dewsnup, Mrs. Eva Robinson and Mrs. Zada Dewsnup are leaving Wednesdoy for a trip to California. The Fanny Lee Cropper' camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, held a meeting Thursday at the Deseret church. It was a business meeting and later refreshments were served. |
