Show Jacobson and Mrs. and Mrs. Clarence Clar-ence East. Marion Anderson and Miss Barbara Bar-bara Wilkins of Delta were married in the Manti Temple, Sept. 29. There were 27 people from Oak City accompanied this young couple cou-ple on an excursion. Mrs. Twiss Nielson went to New York with her son, Gordon and wife, last week. Clarence East had his mother, Mrs. Javis East, and sister, Delphia East, visiting several days last week. Mrs. Clara Talbot is visiting her daughter, Clara Wells, at Clearfield Oak City ... ; MAE H. SHIPLEY The speakers at Sunday evening services were relatives of the missionaries miss-ionaries now in the mission field. They reported the labors of these young men. The following were the Speakers, Miss Edith Anderson, reporting re-porting for her brother, Dean; Reed Talbot for his son, Daryl; Lemira putson for her son, Calvin; and l,ydia Finlinson for her son, Richard. Rich-ard. The reports were interesting. The time was spent and Esdras Finlinson's report of his son, Reece, will be given another evening. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Anderson attended at-tended a farewell party for Lyman Bennett at Holden Sunday. Mrs. Lydia Finlinson will accompany accom-pany her brother, Leo. Lyman, to Slanding Tuesday to attend the "uneralservices for Ethel Nielson. The wedding dance for Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Anderton Saturday light was well attended. Many out if town people were present. Love-y Love-y gifts and a program with Lem l,ovell of Richfield, as master of ceremonies. Two trios by Janice Olson, Mary Jo Christensen and Gene Harris, and a piano solo by Mrs. Josephine Lyman were enjoyed. enjoy-ed. The young couple will be at home at Richfield to their many friends who wish them happiness. Miss Edith Anderson spent Sun-1 day in Oak City. She returned on Monday to the LDS hospital, where she is a nurse. Fred Lundhall went to Provo to attend his brother, John's, funeral services. Others that attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. Leland Roper, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Stuart, and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Finlinson. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Christensen have moved to Nephi. Mr. Christensen Christ-ensen has leased a service station I at Nephi for this winter. Mrs. Rhea McCormack is with her mother, Mrs. Maggie Elder, this week. Mrs. Elder's condition is improving. Mrs. Caddie Anderson is visiting in Provo wth her children, Kath-ryn, Kath-ryn, Doyle and Norvel.
