Show 22nd Annual Parents' Day at Delta j ; High Set for Wednesday, Feb. 25 ; . t ( Wednesday, Feb. 25, students of the Delta high school will stay j . j home, and take life easy, keeping house, doing chores, balancing the i 1 budget, while parents will struggle through a day at school, for an- I i nual Parent's Day is that day. However, parents view the situation F'v, with no alarm, and are looking forward to the big event, which has ' been held annually since 1926. ' The program will follow that of . . ' last year, with registration from ; 8:45 to 9:15 a. m. The morning as- j . sembly wll be held from 9:15 to ' I 10 a. m., with Mrs. Ora Gardner, i president of the parents organiza- " tion, presiding. Classes will be held from 10:15 to 12:15 noon, and lunch ' . period will extend to 1:45 p. m. Lunch wil be served in the hot j I lunch room. Movies will be shown ; , in the auditorium during the lunch f hour, of industrial films, in tech- (i nicolor. j The annual political rally will - be held at 1:45 p. m., followed by election of officers for the ensuing year. The afternoon assembly will be at 2:30 p. m., until 4. Pres. Ray . Olpin, from the U. of U., has been ' invited as the featured speaker, and writes that he will attend, or - send an able representative from y the U., and also sdme singers and i musicians for the program. , Between the close of the assemb- , , ly and the evening program, the ! j4 time will be taken up with the ball ' game, between parents and teach- J ers, and movies at 6, in the audi- ! , torium, when a full-length feature, "The Count of Monte Cristo", will $ be shown. ( The evening session will open at 8 p. m., when a program will be ' given of music and readings, by L students from the B. Y. U.
