Show GOVERNMENT -.MAP OF OIL AND GAS FIELDS OF KANSAS The United States Geological survey sur-vey department of tho Interior, has Just published a map of the oil and gas fields of Kansas. This map, which Is on a scalo or 12 miles to tho Inch, shows not only economic data or special interest to the oil men, but tho township net, county boundaries, railroads, drainage lines and principal towns and cities. The oil fields are outlined In green and the gnB fields In red, scattered occurrences oc-currences of oil and of gas that are not of sulllclent Importance to be claasiried as fields are plainly Indicated, Indi-cated, the pipe Hues nro shown tn a distinctive color, the locations or refineries re-fineries are lndinctcd and the names or the principal fclda are gven. This may which should bo of er-traordlnary er-traordlnary valuo to producers, refiners refin-ers and geologists interested in the Kansas fields, was compiled under tho direction of G. I). Hlchardson of tho United States Geological Survey, and was made possible by the coop-oration coop-oration of many of tho producing companies and geologists whoso Interests In-terests lie In Kansas.
