After the parade the town folks H went to tho high school auditorium H where n program waa rendered. HJ In attendance was the Logan mll-i M Itary band, representatives of the lto- H tary. Commercial and Klwanis clubs. H J. Morris Chrlstensen, president of " H I tho V. A. C. Btudent body, John Car- H lisle, president of the B. Y. student BJ body, Mayor Wm. Howell, chairman H of tho meeting, HJ John A. Crocektt, representing Lo- "flj gan City, wns tho first speaker. Ho HJ paid respects to Coach Kapple, the H board of trustees, the school and thn MJ team. He told them that Logan City H wns behind he school. HJ President L. ,A. Humphreys was HJ the second speaker. According to H hla Judgment of bnsketball which HJ has been formed' by much actual ex- HJ perlence the Inst gamo played In Salt HJ Lnko was the cleanest game ever HJ played In the state. H President Moss of the Stale High H School assclatlon said what the as- H sociatlon stood for, was fast clean H play and for the first tlmo their Ideal H had been reached. Alma Sonne of the Chamber of H Commerce, spoke of the boost tho H Commercial club had given Logan H and said what wonderful advertising- H of Logan tho winning of this chnm- H plonshlp was and thanked the school H nnd the team for the service ren- H dored. H the score of their opponents. Tho next gamo with the L. D. S. U. Lo- H gnn was at a disadvantage, as tho H Salt Lake boys were playing In their H homo gym and before a crowd of Salt H .Lake fans. The boys could hardly H ,bo expected to win, yet thoy had n, H comparatively easy victory. It was i this game that raised tho stock of thn H Logan High team In tho eyes of tho H fans about 100 per cent, as they had H j the hardest row to hoe and came out H with such brilliant success.
