However, results show that tho motor truck has not reduced re-duced furm expenses to uny degree up to the present time and were it not for tho fact that thn farmers agree- that It saves time, It is doubtful doubt-ful whether tho new acquisition to rural activities would bo In tho popular pop-ular class. It has beon determined that tho average truck used on a farm travels 2,777 mllertn year and tho cost of operation Is almost seventeen sev-enteen cents n mllo, making tho to-tnl to-tnl cost of ono of theso "pesky critters' crit-ters' about $470 a year. |
