Browning and tho Ogden police department de-partment In rounding up tho Moxlcan who murdered Benule Rogers of this city for the paltry sum of 23. A complete confession was obtained from Mike Baca, as follows: "Yos, I killed him with his own knife when ho tried to kill me," confessed con-fessed Mike Baca to the Ogden police this afternoon when charged with having murdered Ben Rogers of Logan, Lo-gan, whoso horribly mutilated body was found in tho brush at tho side of the Weber river yesterday morning. morn-ing. "Why did I kill him? Well, ho Insulted In-sulted me and told me that since I was a Mexican I had no business wearing tho American flag. Tho quarrel started after we had been together all day Tuesday. "I mot Rogers Tuesday morning. Ho saw I was a Mexican and talked to me in Spanish. He had been In Arizona and so ho spoke the language very well. Wo were together all day, drinking and going around tho town. "Toward evening I suggested that we look up some girls. Rogers got sore when I suggested this and, as we wandered down toward tno river, he taunted me because I wore an Amrlcan flag.
