Stewaii has Just returned from Morgan, nnd while there ho took occasion to visit tho Morgan Canning company's factory, which is now In operation at full blast. Over 'threo hundred thousand cans of peas are being put away every day, and already this season this company bos canned over 60,000 casta of the Morgan brand peas. Tho crop of peas In the Morgan district Is tho largest In tho history of tho pea canning can-ning Industry. The large ware house built last season will not begin to hold the output. Over two hundred men and boys are employed In the operation of tho factory and about 60 girls are kept busy In the different dif-ferent departments of the plant. Tha Morgan Canning company factory Is perhaps one of tho lnrgest and Is the best equipped pea factory In the United States. Any local persons, who havo been Interested In the canning can-ning Industry, would do well to visit tho Morgan factory at this time, and they will then get an Idea of the bIzq and Importance of such an Industry to a community. Tho Hagenbeck - Wallace circus came to Logan on Thursday, according accord-ing to schedule, and gave two excellent excel-lent performances, one In the afternoon after-noon and one in tho evening. It was tho usual three-ring circus with a number of novel attractions. There was tho usual trapeso performances, animal exhibits and the clowns. All In all, It was a very flno attraction and was attended by upwards of 5000 people. Tho stories of tho big hunt In Rich county are somewhat conflicting. Somo of tho boya came back giving; the Impression that they got the limit In sage hens.
