Show PROVIDENCE HEADLIGHTS Providence, April 19. Mr. Lavon Balr, a missionary of Providence Second ward, has returned from the Central States mission. He gave a flno talk at Providence Second ward on preparedness. There was a largo number of church members present, and all enjoyed the meeting. Mr. Elmer Clawson has left for Nevada. He expects to be manager lot a mining concern. Mr. Clawson has been going to school at the U. 1A. C. for several years, and he lias taken out his diploma. Wo expect hlra homo next winter to take an ac-tlvo ac-tlvo part In tho county. The town board is looking after our wolfaro. They have started to grade Center street and they aro having all vacant lots plowed, and food products are being planted. There Is also a flno room being built for their meetings. Evorybody Is preparing pre-paring for spring work. Out of sixteen births In town, Jhcre were but two glrla. We are producing U-boats, but soldiers. A very pleasant party was held at the home of John Thurer, Wednesday Wednes-day ovcntng, In honor of three birth days, those of JesMo Thcurer, Gladys Balr and Harold Clawson.
