Show BELGIAN MISSION REACHES SEATTLE ' Seattle, Wash., July 8. Tho Belgian Bel-gian mission to the United. States, headed by Baron Monchour, nrrlved today from Spokane. The visitors wero taken from tho train direct to the residence of Samuel Hill, popularly popu-larly known as the Belgian royal palaco, because It was built in 1909 to be the home of Crown Frlnco Albert Al-bert of Belgium, now king, during his visit to tho Aluska-Yukon exposition. Owing to tho Illness of his father the prince was unable to come to the fair. Tho great square house, which will bo the home of tho Bol-glans Bol-glans during their stay here, Is finished fin-ished in Belgian style. This morning tho members of tho mission attended a special mass In St. James's cathedral. The afternoon was was given over to automobile rides and social calls. Tomorrow noon tho members of the mission will attend a great public meeting, and at night a dinner In tholr honor will bo given. Tho mission will leavo for Tort-land Tort-land tomorrow nlcht. m |
