Tho score waa 6 to 2 In favor of Newton. The Senior swarm of Beu-Hlve girls held a most enjoyable social on tho lawn at the homo ot Mr. John Ladle last Wednesday evening. I Messrs. Hancock and Barrett put on the best show over seen In Mendon on Tuesday night. Mrs. Bert Henderson and children, after a pleasant visit at the home of Christian Sorensen, has returned to Clifton, Idaho, Mr. and Mrs. Hennegar of Millvllle are guests at tho home of D. P. Bird. Mr. Anthony Jcppson and family left this morning for Hurricane, Washington county, where they will locate. Mr. Joseph Hancock, Jr., and wlfo of Centervlllo spent the Fourth In Mendon, tho gue3ts of Mrs. Agnes Richards. Troop II passed through our town this morning on their way to Jordan Narrows. Llttlo Hilda Anderson, after a severe se-vere siege of typhoid fever, Is on tho convalescent list. Mrs. Clem Smith and children of Drlggs, Idaho, and Mrs. Farr and children of Arlmo, Idaho, are visiting visit-ing at the homo of Jens Jensen. Mrs. Wm. Reld and daughter, Grace, aro visiting In Ogden. Our city was recently serenaded by a Jazz band In an auto. Come again, boys. Alex Bulst and family of Wells-vllle Wells-vllle celebrated In Mendon. John Hughes and wlfo went to Brlgham City for the Fourth. Mrs. John A. Gardner Is still confined con-fined to her sick bed. Mrs. Lottlo Baker and Wlllard Richards have gono to Mantl to he married In tho temple. Before their departure, their many friends from Logan came over with largo bundles, small packages and plenty of good I wishes for their future happiness. I Tho evening was spent at tho homo of Win.
