That Juno Is tho Idcnl month for dairying Is proven beyond a doubt In tho report or the Wollsvlllo Cow Testing nssoclatlon for the month of M June. This completes ten months of work In tho present year of running H and Is by far the best month that tho nssoclatlon has had, taken from l ovory point of vlow. During tho thirty days of Juno, 4G herds with a total B of 410 cows averaged 838 pounds of milk and 32.82 pounds of butter ' fat per cow. This is practically one pound of fat per cow higher thnn M last month's average and Is a trlflo better than ten pounds of fat per cow ' higher than tho first month or running of the association. Progress In H better dairying seems to bo tho byword with every member or the assocla- H tlon and, duo to this, exceptional results are being obtained In practically H every herd. H Tho leading cow for tho month Is "Itoanlo II," a grade Jersey, owned H by John Darley. Sho produced 1293 pounds or milk with an average test H or 5.5 per cent, making 71.1 pounds or butter rat for the thirty days. H John Stuart's grado Holsteln, "Koslo," which lead tho association last H month, is second with a production or 1G24 pounds or milk, testing 4.5 H per cent, making C8.8 pounds or rat. Tho third cow for tho month, and H nt tho samo tlmo tho highest milk producer during tho period, is "Wart," H a Jersey-Shorthorn cow, owned by William Darley. Sho produced 1776 H pounds or milk, testing 3.8 per cent, making C7.5 pounds or rat. Tho 1 highest herd average again goes to John Darloy's 19 Jerseys, whose aver- H ngo production for tho thirty-day period was 1172 pounds of milk am' CC.9 pounds of fat. D. O.
