Show MENTIONINGS FROM MENDON Mcndon, Sept. 14. Mr. and Mrs. William Foe aro receiving tho congratulations con-gratulations of their many friends over tho safe nrrlval of a baby girl. Mr. George W. Baker, n pioneer, celebrated his eightieth birthday last Sunday. His children were nil present pres-ent except three. Our school began Its year's work on Monday. David Minn, principal, assisted by Miss Jennie Richards and Miss Lillian Jensen, enrolled seventy pupils. Mr. Inglet and Misses Hazel and Myrtle motored down from Falrvlew, Idaho, on Sunday and were tho guests of Mrs. Colby and daughter. Mr. Chance SorenBen and family from Malad were visiting in town on Sunday. Mr. Stephen Cantwell and Mr. Pilk-Ington Pilk-Ington and families were tho guests of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Hardman on Sunday. Miss Nora Ahrens, of the Utah-Idaho Utah-Idaho hospital, Is spending her vacation vaca-tion in Mendon with her parents. , Mrs. Jane Mulr Is having a new porch built on her house. Miss Ollvo Sorensen has gono to Mlllvtlle to teach school. Mr. Allen Willie has gono to Montana Mon-tana to work for the government as a surveyor. HAPPY STICKAPPLE. |
