Show PROVIDENCE NEWS Providence, Mny 17. Last Friday Fri-day night tho A. A. C. C. gavo an apron and overall danco In tho pavilion. pa-vilion. A large crowd of young people- were present and all had a good time. Mr. C. II. Hammond, our water-mastor, water-mastor, Is very busy working on tho' fcater ditch. Ho has a largo forco of boys and men at work, and It Is expected that tho water will be in tho ditch by next Friday. Mr. David Fuhrlman and his brother, Oliver, will leave next Thursday Thurs-day for their ranch in Illdgedalo, Idaho. Tho roports of tho crops In Iltdgedalo sound very good to th farmers of Providence, and also to tho peopld in tho west. I Mr. Elmer' Zollinger and II. B. Campbell have both purchased new 'automobiles. They are enjoying themselves them-selves very "much riding about In the valley. Services for last Sunday wero given giv-en In honor of Mother's Day. In tho evening Mr. Chrlstenson of Logan First ward rendered a solo, and CO. 5 ' Thorpe. gave a splendid recitation. At tho meeting, Mr. W. C. Hansen was appointed president of the V. M. M. I. A. In tho Second ward, with M. Marler as first and Lavon Balr as second counselors. |
