H Mr George Dunbar, vico-presldent of H the Fair association, has just return- H ed from Rexburg, Idaho, where he I visited the fair to get a line up of fho H harness and running horses and other I features for the Cache county fair to I be held September 28, 29, and 30th. I Mr. Dunbar reported th e following H horses would be here. H From the Dennis stable, Jessie B Knight, trotter, Co-ed, trotter with a I record of 1:19, Paddy Shaw; trotter, I vith a record of 2:18; Jenny Fitzimn- mos, three year old, and Daisy Dl- I rect, three, year old. - I Lord Holt, trotter owned by Mr. I Kelghgreen. Ellen Zedo, Daisy Dl- I rect, and Jessamine, owned by Wll- H Ham Williams. George Patsh and Nat H McGregor owned by J. E. Qalbreathr H Bell Fltzlmmons, owned by Dr. Rog I ers. Prince Argot Hall, owned by H J. W, Wilson." Opal and Dulgar, ono- H half mild, running Worses, owned by Mr. Parks. Chatoer, running horse, owned by S. N. Davis. Mr. Mc-Laughlln Mc-Laughlln will also be hore with two good running horses , . Horsemen from tho Oregon circuit are expected to be hero for tho fair. As we are in direct line with the Utnlv State Fair and no other fairs to con-fllct con-fllct with ours, a large number of the horsemen will be here, and with tho other features listed there wilt be no, trouble in entertaining tho people. Mr Doinbhr arranged for other features fea-tures such as little Marie and the sevon performing black ears which do almost everything but talk in the way of tricks. Miss Lucllo Belmont, tho lady balloonist, bal-loonist, who will mako the double parachute drop, writes that we may with safety advertise tho balloon as-censlons as-censlons and tho doublo parachute drop as extensively as wo desire, because only In caso ot her death would sho disappoint us, as fair and square dealings ,aro tho main stays of their cxtenslvq reputation, and they would never dlsapplont a contracted date even though sho were offered twice the money to perform elsewhere Miss Belmont and her assistant will arrive on the 26th. and the place will bo prepared for, tho ascensions nt the fair grounds. Tho. attraction will be a big drawing card as it has never been seen In this part of tho country before.. The Japanese daylight day-light fireworks, bombs shells, and hot air balloons have been ordered and will be here. In duo time. Tho daylight day-light fireworks and other novel features fea-tures will tako placo between tho heats ot tho races so there will bo no long waits and something doing ov cry minute of the day. |
