Show POPULAR TEACHER GETS PROMOTION Professor L. Bjarnason of the B. Y. Will Become Head of Carbon County High School Friends of Professor Lofter BJarn; ason are congratulating lilru upon having secured a very prominent position po-sition In the educational field. Prof. Bjarnason goes to Price, Utah, the latter part ot tho week to becomo principal of tho Carbon county High school. This Is a good position and also tho securing of It is tho recognl,-tlon recognl,-tlon of the gentleman's ability. Prof. Bjarnason had been engaged to remain principal of tho B. Y. C. Training School for another year, but when this flattering offer oftmo to him ho arranged to bo excused from his duties horo and accepted tho position. Mr. Bjarnason has been prominent In educational affairs In the city for a number ot years. He served as principal ot tho Benson school for two or three years, after which ho entered tbo U. A. C. Ho had secured se-cured his early high school training at the B. Y. U. ot Provo kndtwUh a year of excellent work secured the degree ot B. S, In 1912 from tbe A, C.
