Show C. Hay Kimball has been chosen by the Y. M. C. A. Student Conncll at tho U. A. U. to represent tho col-lego col-lego at Uio Y. M. C. A, Student conference con-ference of Western Colleges, to be held at Hates l'ark, Colo., In tho near future. This will bo tho first tlmo that tho college has been represented rep-resented at such a confronco. Mr. Kimball was chosen as a recognition rec-ognition of his elllcient work In the college "V" council. Ho has shown Interest In the Y. M. C. A. stneo Its founding. Muurlco Llnford was also appointed appoint-ed by tho council to tho clialrmancy ot a committee on employment for students, who earn part or all ot their expenses at tho college. This commtttco will assist students in obtaining room and board. E. W. Robinson was appointed temporary chairman to call a "Y' mooting next fall to elect officers for tho year. The "Y' Council has completed arrangements for enough small pocket pock-et books to supply ovory student-who ontors school noxt fall with one. These books will contain information informa-tion deslgnod to Inform tho now students stu-dents concerning llfo at tho U, A. C. Thoy will bo Invaluable aldo to tho freshmen. |
