Show City Play Ground Opens Next Monday The City Playground will open next Monday and it is expected that a great number of adults as well as boys and girls will take advantage of thco pportunlty for healthful recreation. recrea-tion. Organlred play will be carried car-ried on under competent directors and various teams will be organized for both boys and girls. Somo of the activities to be considered this summer aro volley ball, baseball, basketball, Indoor baseball, truck and field events, folk dancing, free play and swimming. Tho Board of Educatloa haH granted grant-ed the use of the High School slwm-mlng slwm-mlng pool and this will be conducted conduct-ed as a part of ' the playground work. Beginners classes In swimming will .bo organized with tho boIo pur-poso pur-poso of teaching the boys and girls how to swim. Tills work' will be under oxp'eft supervision at all times.
