Show BENSON NEWS' BENSON, Sept. 15. Tho annual Sunday school confeience of our ward was held yesterday and wo were favored fav-ored with a visit of Supt. A. E.Ilow-en, E.Ilow-en, Chorister C. R. Johnson, Oigan-1st Oigan-1st J. H. Taylor, Jr., and Miss Francis Fran-cis Harbor of the Cache stake Sunday Sun-day School. The stake piesldency, S F. Uudg6 and Joseph Qulnney were also present. In connection with the ptogiam given by the various var-ious classes of thiu waid Sunday School, each visitor took part ana we had a most enjoyable time and very much, appreciated tho presence .of. "our, distinguished visitors and the .most excellent help they rendered. Presidents Dallif, Budge and Quln-ney Quln-ney -remained for the afternoon meeting meet-ing and occupied the tlmo In giving valuable instiuction and In bearing testimony to the truthfulness of the gospel and the divine mission of the Prophet Joseph Smith. A conjoint meeting of tho V. M. I and Y. L. M. I. A. was held In tho evening at which an Interesting pro-giam pro-giam was rendered and an encoui aging ag-ing talk by Bishop Olson of College who was in the ward with his family 'vlBltlng with the Falslev family with whom he became acquainted when laboring ns u missionary In Denmark. So altogether we feel that our Sabbath Sab-bath was most cujoyably and profitably profit-ably spent. It gives u'S much Joy to have our joung friend Frank Buchanan homo again after oei two e.us In thu V. S. service as a volunteer from Benson. Ben-son. He is the last to teturn. Rees, principal prin-cipal und Miss Stella Parker m teachers of tho Rivet sldo dlstilet and Mr. J. ty, SeainonB, principal nnd Miss Drucllla Morgan teachers In tho Benson district. Mr. Rees and Mr. SwmonB havo taught vety successfully success-fully for several jl'ars In Benson but this 0 the first year for the loaders load-ers of the primary departments.
