Tho first leg lacks the results of but a few mutches to make It complete. These mtches will "In all probability be played sometime Thursday as well us somo of the matches of tho second leg. Wednesday's matches resulted as follows: Solon Barber defeated Professor Pro-fessor F. D. Dalncs 6-3, 7-6; Professor Profes-sor N. A. Pederscn defeated A. O. Ramspcrger, 6-4, G-2; Qeorgo Eccles cbat M. Wilson 6-1, G-4; A. Llndnutst beat V. Wilson 6-2, 6-1; Percy Smith dofeatcd W. Lindsay 6-3, 6-4; nnd Kelfer Sauls beat Wllf Carlylo In two sots out of threo. All of these matches match-es woro played on the Agricultural College couits with the exception of the Smith Lindsay on which was do-clded do-clded on tho II. Y. C. courts. Thoro aro left In tho first leg but five moro matches to bo decided and these will be played In time to allow al-low for the beginning of tho next leg on Thursday or Friday. These matches are between Jenkins and Brlmley, Peterson and Smith, B. Smith and Hammond, S. Ecclles and Hendricks And Green and Merrjll. With thirty-two entrants In tho tournament the Logan club feels confident that material of sulTlclcnt ability will turn up to Justify tho choosing of a team to represent tho club in somo of the state or district tournaments. In fact with such men as C. R. Johnson, Bert Smith, Percy Smith, Cyril HamHiondT'olof Nols'on and George Preston all men of cop-sidorable cop-sidorable experience the club will take Its sharo of honors. At' present plans are facing made to meet Salt Lako, Ogden and Provo clubs and It Is thought likely that these plana will amterlallzo in tho nrranglng of tournaments tour-naments with these cities In tho near future.
