Jeaflf-the'ma wkomet with death as a result of the terrible accident ac-cident which occurred at the Central Cen-tral Mljl last Wednesday, were held In the Tabernacle at 2 o'clock last Saturday. Elder Samuel B. Mitton and Prof. S. E. Clark were In attendance with the Tabernacle choir which rendered beautiful music for the occasion. The floral offerings were profuse and beautiful. The funeral cortege entered the building to solemn strain of the organ, followed the hymn by the Tabernacle choir. Bishop H. R Crockett offered the Invocatlon'after which the choir sang Nearer Dear Savior To Thee, Professor George D. Casto of the Cache Stako M. I. A. said that he had labored with Elder Kearl In tho Cache Stake for a" number of years and had, always found him to bo very optimistic in social as well as business busi-ness circles. He was always glad to havo the privilege ot doing work of a religious nature. He was ambitions ambi-tions and Industrious and wanted to be something big In tho world. He was an unselfish man and wanted to let all with whom he came In contact con-tact feel as he felt in regards to the church. On one occasion he was unable to attend tho officers meeting, meet-ing, having been called to Salt Lako City on urgent business. He sent a telegram to the president, asking to be excused. Such traits as these had helped to build a strong, congenial con-genial character for Mr. Kearl. Bishop Winn of Smllhfleld said that this was a sad occasion, but there were a great many things to be thnnkful for, among which were the dally acts oT the deceased, ho being a man who had dealt out Justice Jus-tice as nearly as possible to all the people whom ho had met while ho sojourned In life. Said that tho Kearl family were Indeed devoted to each other and they would always council each other before making any stops in tho business world.
