Show OPPORTUNITY FOR WOMEN ' STUDENTS Aa exceptional opportunity for women to study Institutional cookery will be offered at the Utah Agrlcul-' tiiral College this year through the college cafeteria, according; to an an-' Bouacement Just made by Professor Alice Ravenhlll, director of the! school of home economics at the College. In order to take care of. the students, not members of the Students' Stu-dents' Army Training corps at the j institution and of the college faculty the school of home economics has! taken over the management ot the: college cafeteria, which will now bo operated in the Women's building. Hero two dining rooms are being fitted fit-ted up with all modern cafeteria ap-, pllances and a model cafeteria will' be conducted. Those women at the lBstltBttoa who desire to prepare sV cafeteria managers, aa managers of hospital dlBlag rooms, tea rooms" ia large departmeat stores aad tor elm-Uar elm-Uar positions will be able to do much of "their laboratory work ta connection connec-tion with the cafeteria. Miss Melissa Hunter, a graduate ot the University ot Indiana will- be the expert In charge of this' work. Miss Hunter was student assistant in .the cafeteria at the University of Indiana during part ot her graduate i work. She. has acted as government food expert and during the summer Just past she was assistant food manager man-ager of the. Y. M. C. A. cafeteria, camp dining hall, at Estes Park, Colorado, where women .were trailed tor Y, M. C. A. war work. 'The Utah Agricultural College is the first western Institution to undertake this work.
